Dr. Vanessa Abdelhalim is a Canadian-trained family physician with a focused practice in Cosmetic Medicine. She graduated medical school at the University of Ottawa and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto. She has been working as a family doctor since 2013 and in the cosmetic medical field since 2016. She continues to update her knowledge and skills by attending trainings and conferences both locally and internationally on an ongoing basis. She is the Medical Director of seven medical spas spanning the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa, where she supervises multiple nurses and leads the medical team. This exposes her to a multitude of different treatments, techniques, and complications that she has successfully managed.

Dr. Vanessa is the Medical Director for Martins Rejuvenation Centre and the International Institute of Aesthetic Medicine’s Eastern Canada training centre. She is head of teaching Cosmetic Medicine to nurses and physicians from across Canada and the United States. Her teaching is evidence-based and focused on safety and professionalism.

Cosmetic Medicine is Dr. Vanessa’s passion. As a new mom she understands now more than ever the importance of self-care. She believes that when we make ourselves a priority and invest in our own health and wellness we are able to shine brighter in our professional and personal lives. She takes great pride in delivering the highest standard of care with safe and effective treatments that give beautiful, natural-looking results.

In the past she has served as a health contributor for CTV Ottawa Morning Live and now with CTV Barrie! Outside of work she enjoys working out, travelling, and spending time with her family.

Krystal is MRC’s nursing manager and has been an aesthetic injector since 2010. She graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Her career started as an Oncology and Palliative Care nurse in both Victoria, BC and Barrie, ON. Her career then progressed into the aesthetic field where she found her true dream and passion

Krystal’s innate personality traits parallel with the qualities needed to be an effective, compassionate injector. She believes in creating natural and youthful results for her patients of all ages. She has a passion for life-long learning, always looking to improve her knowledge and skills.
